Equimas are a breed of Equid-like creatures that vary in appearance according to habitat, folklore, hierarchy and diet.
The word "Equi-mas" was developed by grouping a couple of relevant words to describe this breed’s gender and animal family.
"Equi-“ derives from "Equidae”, taxonomic family name for most horses, onagers, zebras, kiangs, akhal-tekes, hinnies, donkeys, mules, etc.
“ -Mas" derives from "Mas-culine or Male".
While the term "Equimas" describes: male Horses, "Equifem" describes: female Horses.
