This artwork is influenced on anthropomorphic creatures, more specifically Moonrats. 
As you continue to explore this gallery you’ll discover a vast collection of illustrations regarding Erinaceid-like creatures described as "Erinaceimas: Moonrats".

Erinaceimas are a breed of Erinaceid-like creatures that vary in appearance according to habitat, folklore, hierarchy and diet. 



The word "Erinacei-mas" was developed by grouping a couple of relevant words to describe this breed’s gender and animal family. 
"Erinacei-“ derives from "Erinaceidae”, taxonomic family name for most hedgehogs, gymnures, and moonrats. 

“ -Mas" derives from "Mas-culine or Male". 



While the term "Erinaceimas" describes: male Moonrats, "Erinaceifem" describes: female Moonrats.
